2-day Outlook — Atlantic
Plain-language outlook
In the Atlantic over the next 48 hours, three areas are being watched: a cluster of storms about 490 miles southeast of Bermuda that has a low chance of becoming a tropical depression or tropical storm and could mean heavier rain and rough seas near Bermuda by Sunday into Monday. A strong non-tropical low well west of Portugal could briefly gain some tropical traits and bring rain to Portugal and northwest Spain tonight into Sunday. A third area has little to no chance of developing in this window.
